Brunswick Attitude Bowling Ball Bowling Ball Features:
Brunswick is excited to kick off the Summer with some Attitude! You’ll remember the ‘tude series from the late ’90s that were a part of bowling history when Parker Bohn III rolled a televised 300 game with a ‘tude 3 – well, Brunswick decided it is time for more Attitude. This is a dual-launch with a polished-pearl Attitude that is angular on the backend and a urethane Attitude Control that does precisely what the name says, brings Attitude, but with the controlled urethane motion.
Both Attitude and Attitude Control use the Contra core, most recently found in the Hero line. This versatile symmetric core provides excellent numbers for a strong reactive ball and unique numbers for a urethane ball, providing more performance and usability for a broader range of bowlers.
The Attitude is a gorgeous aqua/silver/black with bright pink logos and is poured with Activator Plus 3.0 Pearl. The proven core and cover combination at an attractive price point will make everyone want to add Attitude to their bag this season.

This ball uses the same symmetrical core as a recent favorite ball the Hero Solid. With the Activator Plus 3.0 cover I get plenty of length and a strong back-end reaction. This ball will be perfect later in block when the lanes get burned and on dryer league patterns.

This ball has a lot of attitude towards the pins. This ball has Contra a proven winner in the Hero series and the activator plus 3.0 a pearl. Put that all together and you will get a ball that will give you good length thu the fronts and a strong motion to the pins and with the dynami core the pins will fly.
I Drilled mine 75×4.5×35 and I see this ball being in my league bag for a long time

I threw my Brunswick Attitude next to my Ebonite GB4 Pearl as they have very close RG and Differential numbers. I drilled the Attitude at 60 x 3-1/2 x 20 as that has become my favorite drilling pattern. I found the Attitude to pick up just a hair earlier and flips harder down lane giving it a larger overall footprint of about 2-3 boards. I never owned a Hero Pearl but I’ve been told several times it rolls like the Hero. I do like this ball a lot. It just wants to carry.

COMMENTS
The Attitude has a very similar core and cover combination to the very successful Hero. I find this ball to be a little longer and a bit more angular when comparing the two balls. The Attitude is one of the best pearl benchmark balls on the market. This one is frequently one of the first balls out of my bag currently in league. I have it right between my 3D Offset and Melee Jab Carbon. If it is not enough ball I switch to the Offset, if it is too much ball and I need more length I throw the Carbon. This is ball is a fantastic value and is playable from all parts of the lane. I also see this one working for most bowler styles. This is truly one of the can’t miss balls on the shelf for both its color combo and its reaction.

A pearl with some bite! The Attitude has been a piece in my bag that allows me to be able to throw on some drier lanes and not be unpredictable on the backend. The dull surface blends out the pattern and it being a pearl still gives me a lot of hitting power off the backend. For me this is a transitional pearl. Once a stronger ball becomes a bit too much, this one bridges the gap between the strong solid and a weaker pearl

Got the ball drilled at 45x4x20 which is my true PAP. The pin is up right on my right ring finger. Lastly, sanded it down to 3000 dull. Speed: 14..5-15.5 MPH. Rev: low. Tilt: High.
First game having so much oil, the ball handled like no one’s business. Gee, did that ball really take good bites chewing off heavy oil first game at 184. Game transitions, the ball still continues with hiccups which was faulted on my own at 176 game. Last game, closed out strong at 185 after 2 bad misses to open up 2 frames and figured out by moving 15 boards to the left to keep collecting oils which resulted me having 5 straight strikes in a row to close the game out. And yes, I took the whole poker run pots of the night—what better than that!
When I was told that this ball can take any surfaces I wanted to do, the ball will not disappoint and surprise the lights out of me. This ball is very versatile due to my surprise. It does HOOK and continue to keep trucking down the pins while being towed. Melee Jab Carbon may be a strong core and RG differential than Attitude in numbers as well as pearlized but my bowling shows me that Attitude is right on par with and as sexy as the Melee Jab Carbon. Now I know I do have flexibility to pick up either Attitude or Melee Jab Carbon to start off the game with full confidence. However, I must admit that Attitude is leaning to becoming my benchmark ball and first ball out of the bag. That’s the Attitude Brunswick wants me to have—ATTITUDE UP!!!
