Brunswick Cutting Edge Hybrid Bowling Ball Features:
The Cutting Edge Hybrid is the dull-finished ball in the new Cutting Edge duo. These balls replace the Edge Dark Purple Solid and Edge Blue Pearl for the new season. This multi-colored hybrid comes out of the box with a duller 500/2000 SiaAir box finish than the polished Cutting Edge Solid. This allows the Cutting Edge Hybrid to create earlier traction in the middle of the lane, with a slightly smother motion at the end of the pattern. The duller box finish will provide more total hook than the Cutting Edge Solid across most patterns.
The Cutting Edge Solid and Hybrid are two great additions to the Edge line, offering increased performance due to new cover and core combinations. The Cutting Edge Solid is a shiny black ball that clears the front easily and produces a sharp angular backend motion due to bringing back the 3C Solid cover found on the popular LT-48. Cutting Edge Hybrid is an attractive orange/purple/blue ball that creates great traction in the mid-lane and strong continuation due to strong Relativity Hook Hybrid cover and a 2000 grit finish. Both Cutting Edge balls utilize the Cutting Edge Low RG core with modified core numbers compared to previous Edge releases.
