Brunswick Jagged Edge Solid Bowling Ball Features:
The Jagged Edge Solid is one of two new releases in Brunswick’s Advanced line, along with the Jagged Edge Hybrid. It uses the new Brink Symmetric core that is a lower RG (2.508″) and higher differential (0.043″) design than the Cutting Edge Low RG Symmetric core that was used in the Cutting Edge series. The coverstock has also been strengthened compared to the Cutting Edges, up to the Relativity 2.0 Solid formulation. The Jagged Edge Solid utilizes a 500/3000 SiaAir factory finish, allowing it to create traction earlier than the Jagged Edge Hybrid. Its stronger cover and core will offer added hook compared to any of the Cutting Edges.
The Jagged Edge Solid combines our new Brink Symmetric core with the Relativity 2.0 Solid coverstock to create aggressive mid-lane traction and strong backend motion on medium to oily conditions. The 3000 Siaair finish will allow the Jagged Edge Solid to handle more oil than the Cutting Edge Solid. Great benchmark motion and lots of performance for the price.

The Jagged Edge Solid is my go-to ball in league now. With this ball in my hands I know I can throw it to the dry, not have to worry about it over-reacting, and have the confidence that it’s going to crush the pins on its way through. It has also taken over the solid symmetrical spot in my tournament bag because of its controllability and hitting power.

The Jagged Edge Solid is a smooth rolling ball that is good on a variety of moderate conditions. It has a smoother shape that allows me to maintain control of the pocket when the lanes are on the tougher side. I have thrown this ball for the vast majority of league games this season so far due to its versatility. I am able to throw it very direct and also to move in and throw it away from me. This one is a bit longer than the Cutting Edge Hybrid and reminds me a bit more of the Magnitude 035. It seems to have a bit more rounded shape and carries just a bit better. Overall, this one is a great ball for the majority of bowlers on many moderate conditions and is a can’t miss in my opinion.
