DV8 Intimidator Bowling Ball Features:
The Intimidator is the latest high performance option in the DV8 lineup. This ball uses an asymmetrical weight block and a new coverstock to give bowlers hook in the middle of the lane with a strong back end recovery. The Assailant core shape that was used previously in theĀ InstigatorĀ is a low RG (2.481ā³) and high differential (0.051ā³) design that revs up quickly and provides a large amount of track flare potential. The reactive solid Inciter Max cover is stronger than the Inciter coverstock that was seen on theĀ InstigatorĀ andĀ Verge. This cover has no trouble creating hook in the midlane while still retaining energy for a strong move at the breakpoint.
⢠The Assailant core with aggressive numbers features DOT and DynamiCore for powerful hits and durability.
⢠Inciter Max coverstock creates a ton of traction and hook.
⢠500, 2000 Siaair surface with the strong Inciter Max coverstock allows you to keep moving into the oil.
⢠The bold black, purple, and white colors stand out on the lanes.

DV8 Intimidator
Axis Tilt: 7°
Axis Rotation: 40°
PAP: 4 13/16 x ā ^
Speed and rev rate matched
Layout: 70 x 5 x 35
The DV8 Intimidator is the latest high end, asymmetrical, release. It uses the Assailant core, wrapped with DynamiCore and the new Inciter Max cover. The finish out of box is 500/2000. This ball, with its bold black, purple, and white colors stand out on the lanes and the shelf. The colors make it easy to read on the lanes, you can really see this one rev up.
Compared to my Instigator (65×4.5×30), the new Intimidator is 3-4 boards stronger overall with more traction in the midlanes and a ,noticeably, stronger move on the backend. I was able to keep moving into the puddle, creating more angle to the pocket and carry the corner pins better than the Instigator. The cover stock and box surface is strong and will be a great match up for higher speeds and rev challenged bowlers. This will be in the bag every time Iām facing long or higher volume patterns. I decided to take my Intimidator up to 4000 Grit with a Siaair Pad just to see how different it would be. This gave me more skid in the heads with a big change of direction down lane. I was a big fan of the OG Grudge and see similar things from the new Intimidator. I love the colors because it looks like I doubled my rev rate, plus it looks really good on the shop walls.

DV8 Intimidator is a big, heavy, pocket crunching beast of a ball. Big hook monster of a coverstock, ball motion with superior traction in heavy oil, and with the right layout and surface can even be used on house conditions. This is a ball I would start with in tournament competition due to its aggressiveness and strength to create a path to the pocket. Very clean, very versatile, extremely faithful ball reaction. I am very moved with what my eyes have seen and the consistency in ball reaction making good shots on the lanes. The DV8 Instigator is much sharper in the backend in comparison to the Intimidator, which makes both great companions for league and tournament play, but definitely the Intimidator is the starter over the Instigator due to the strength in its coverstock formulation.

This is a big hooking heavy hitting ball! On heavy oil this ball just will not stop it digs and digs to get to the pocket. This ball hits the mid lane and starts digging. The ball never quits on you. I bowl on a medium oil THS and it allows me to move way left from the track and throw it with confidence to the spot and know it will make it back to the pocket. For me this ball is rounder motion than say the Instigator or Notorious. This is my go to ball on heavy oil !

Power and Performance….Must Be DV8!!!
Introducing the newest releases from DV8. Next ball up is the DV8 Warrant. The layout in this ball is 45x5x40. This ball is just incredibly smooth with continuous ball motion through the pins. DV8 is known for producing extremely strong rolling and hard-hitting balls. With Dynamicore added to this ball, the Warrant is that go to ball that allows you to control the mid-lane with incredible hitting power. Another must have in your bag from DV8. We Are Brunswick!!!

A little bit of a WOW factor on this one. I have been of Staff with Track/ EBI International for the past 3 years. It was extremely easy to control the fronts and the mid lane on this one. I was able to stay right up against the oil line and follow the pattern as it broke down. This ball hits pretty hard and has no mercy on the pins. It is a great benchmark ball for the start of any league or tournament

The DV8 Intimidator is the best high performance ball by DV8 to date. This ball absolutely masters rolling in the mid lane but still having enough power to destroy the pins. The colors are fantastic, and they bring back great memories of the person who was the OG intimidator, Dale Earnhardt. The DV8 Intimidator features the Dynamicore technology which will also help the ball finish harder through the pins. The DV8 Intimidator also features the DOT technology, and that lets you drill on over 90% of the surface. If you need a ball to contend with heavy oil lane conditions, look no further than the DV8 Intimidator. You will not be disappointed

This ball filled a gap in my arsenal that I didn’t know I had. The DV8 Intimadator is great for moderately difficult patterns and is an absolute monster on house shots. It is the perfect peice when I need something to clear the heads, but still slow down in the midlane without shooting through the breakpoint. It’s also great for fresh conditions when I need to tame the backend reaction. The motion is predictable and it hits like a truck. I especially recommend this ball for players bowling on low-friction lane surfaces where the fronts burn up fast.

DV8 Intimidator uses the Assailant core with the Inciter Max Solid Reactive cover and finished with 500/2000 Siaair. As is standard on all higher performance releases from DV8 this one comes with DynamiCore for better hitting power on those āoff pocketā hits and Durability Optimization Technology (DOT) to enhance the durability of your ball allowing DV8 to offer an industry best, four year limited warranty. As strong as this ball is Iāll probably only use this ball in league when they seem a little slick or for tournaments with higher volume of oil. Of course I could put a little polish on it so itād be a little cleaner in the front and mid but I think Iāll keep it at OOB surface. I went with a layout for length with control of 75x5x80 and this is my first pin down, or DOT down, ball in a long time. The shape reminds me of the original Brunswick Mastermind but a little cleaner in the front and stronger in the mid and quicker in the back.
