Ebonite Stinger Hybrid Bowling Ball Features:
Ebonite started the year great with the Omni and Allure, providing excellent performance and gaining confidence with the Ebonite fans. The new Stinger Hybrid and Stinger Pearl look to bring exceptional performance and value to the Ebonite line and help fill the performance gaps without breaking the bank. Both new Stinger balls use the new medium RG/low Differential Stinger core and are paired with the Detonator 2020 base cover. This combination generates excellent performance on medium to light oil, and we anticipate that it will be loved by pros and league bowlers alike.

The release of the Ebonite Stinger series, I was not sure what I was going to get, but when I tested them they had me very impressed! These releases were so much fun I did not want to stop bowling… seriously! The Stinger Hybrid is a very strong ball in the midlane, but will not compromise you of any skid at the range finders. The ball seriously hooks and I did not touch the surface when I tested it. You will see a lot of angular hook off the spot, so better save this for medium to medium-heavy lane conditions or even perhaps before it starts breaking down. Which leads me to the Stinger Pearl… this ball is the best tag team partner to the Hybrid as it retains lots of energy to get as far as to the range finders before making a move. The Pearl does an aggressive skid/flip once it touches dry boards, so you want to make sure you open up your angles for the precise breakpoint you are trying to reach. The Hybrid and Pearl are the perfect duo for those leagues with house conditions that seem to give you a hard time controlling during match play. I cannot wait to use these for the new season!

The Stinger Hybrid is Ebonite’s latest release in the lower-mid performance lineup. It has a 2.517 rg and .035 diff, sitting at 500/1000 finish with factory compound. Designed for medium to dry lane conditions.
Tossed the Stinger on the 39 ft Don Carter pattern and found the ball to be ok at box finish. I decided to hit the surface with a 3000 grit pad and turned an ok ball into a head turner. The added pop down lane was very noticeable and the Stinger looked like a high performance ball without the cost!
