Hammer The Sauce Bowling Ball Features:

Oh yes… it’s back!! One taste of The Sauce and it will set your mouth on fire!

The Sauce is another updated version of a familiar name from Hammer’s past. This new release uses the Aggression CFI Solid coverstock from the recently-discontinued Rip’D Solid. Its box finish is 500/2000 Abralon, giving The Sauce easy traction through the oil. This aggressive coverstock surrounds a new symmetrical core design called Modified Contrusion. The original Contrusion core from the first generation of The Sauce needed to be changed to fit into current USBC RG specifications. The change is fairly small, taking it from an RG of 2.45″ in the original to 2.47″ in this version. This low RG shape gets The Sauce rolling quickly, helping to produce a strong midlane read.

Aggression Solid CFI creates more traction than any coverstock Hammer currently offers. Combined with a 500/2000 sanded finish, you can expect strong traction in the midlane with an equally strong reaction at the backend of the lane on heavy oil.

Our engineers have taken the original Contrusion core shape and made a minor density modification to conform to modern USBC rules. This tweak has enabled us to maintain the fast revving, low RG motion the original Sauce was known for when it dominated the bowling scene.

The Hammer Sauce has been my go to ball on heavy oil especially on the fresh or when the backends become uncontrollable! The Sauce’s strong midlane read still allows for a continous downlane motion that is controllable! It is predictable ball that will allow you to adjust on the fly as the oil pattern breaks down! This ball has never lost its energy and could be a strong benchmark ball on long or heavy patterns as it will help keep you line/angles in front of you!

  2. Kirstin

This is a powerful ball all the way through! I attempted to use this ball at Open Nationals and it was too much ball for that condition. This ball is clean through the front with a strong continuous backend. I am classified as a stroker and I would use this ball on fresh heavier oil lane patterns to help get a read on the condition. This is a great ball and I would strongly suggest this ball to anyone, especially those who do not hook the ball as much. This is a great first ball out of the bag
