Storm Astrophysix Bowling Ball Features:
The AstroPhysiX replaces the Intense Fire in Storm’s Premier line. This new release uses the same asymmetrical Atomic core design from the PhysiX, along with the proven R2S Pearl coverstock. This cover exits the box at a 1500 grit polished finish, helping to provide easy length and a big move at the breakpoint. With the AstroPhysiX, you will see more angle off the breakpoint than from the Intense Fire.
At Storm, our intention creates our reality. When discussing the best balls on the market, tour players invariably mention the PhysiX. As always, we don’t build bowling balls just because we can. We define the need based on the feedback from our tour professionals, Storm VIP pro shop operators, and our loyal fans. The all-new Astro PhysiX is yet another exemplary gem that will fulfill the needs of many.
Firmly ensconced at the top of the Storm performance heap is the all-new Atomic Core. Yes, it officially boasts a 0.053 total differential in a 15 pound ball, and the rest of its prodigious oomph accepts credit from the strategically placed inlets surrounding the oval bolt and greater mass displacement along the z-axis creating an enhanced intermediate differential.
R2S is synonymous with some of the most successful balls in recent history like the Hy-Road, Frantic, and the IQ Tour. It is renowned for clearing the front part of the lane with an unprecedented movement on the backend. The consistency of this shell through the heads is something to be marveled at.
