Track Strata Bowling Ball Features:

The Strata is Track’s first high-performance release as part of the Brunswick family of brands. It features the brand new Strata asymmetrical core that is wrapped in the QR-11 Solid coverstock. The Strata comes out of the box at a very rough 500/1000 SiaAir finish, indicating the intent for a ball that will dig through the heaviest of oil. The Strata maintains its roughness nicely, without glossing up as quickly as many other sanded balls tend to. The Strata will match up best on heavier and longer oil patterns.

The Strata is Track Bowling’s first top-end release this year. The Proof performed like the highest priced balls but was sold at a great value. The designers had the challenging task of exceeding the Proof’s performance with this release, and we’re all very excited with the results. The Strata provides the ideal blend of strong mid lane with continuous backend. To get the desired performance, the Track Bowling design team started with the new Strata core, and the strongest Q.R. cover to date, QR-11 Solid.

If you are looking for a ball for heavy or longer oil, the Track Strata will be your ball.

drilled my Strata the same layout as the original Paradox and the Strata is easily 5 boards stronger. Once the Strata started hooking too early and got lazy down lane, I switched to the Paradox and started striking again.

The Strata will be the first ball out of my bag when bowling on longer or heavier oil patterns.

The Track Strata is a great ball for heavy, long or fresh oil situations. It has a solid cover QR11, and the new Strata core which is asymmetric. It reads the mid lane very well and for me has a big smooth shape with good continuation through the pins. I would say it is a little less with my feet and a little smoother than the Hammer Redemption Solid but is a good 3-4 stringer than the Track Proof. It’s a good looking ball that will get an instant place in my tournament arsenal.

Strata is the newest and strongest heavy oil ball in the current Track Bowling line, and I do emphasize HEAVY. This ball is very strong in the midlane, and rolls smoother than any ball in the Track line I have seen in a long time. This ball performs! A ball definitely you will want to use in tournaments for heavy volume and/or sport patterns of various lengths. This is a new favorite of mine, but especially for patterns.

This ball will always be in my bag. A strong midlane with very continuous backend. New Strata core with the strongest Q.R. Cover to date the QR-11 solid. This ball is great on the heavier volumes and also allows me to just keep chasing it left as it transitions as it just has no quit in it

The Track Strata is a very strong rolling ball! For a ball that comes 500/1000 grit right out of the box, and the strongest coverstock that Track has ever produced, that should come as no surprise. However, there are some surprises.
Mine was drilled 45x4x25. The surprise was how clean the ball rolled through the heads, even out of box. Where the teeth of this ball seem to come out is the mid-lane. The mid-lane move is quite strong, and gives you a lot of angle to and through the pins. The Strata has been in my league ball since I got it, and for a strong HP solid, that says a lot to me.
The Strata wound up being way more versatile than I expected, and recommend this ball not only for sport, but for house shots as well – just make sure there is A LOT of oil to play!

The Strata is a great heavy oil ball, even with the skid flip type layout on the ball. This ball has a lot of surface so I did a layout to preserve the energy for down lane and let the cover do most of the work. This ball flat out hooks and if you are looking for a ball to get through the heavy oil and maintain that hitting power, this one is for you.

All You Track Fans That Want A Ball That Hooks… Well This New Track Strata Is Just The Ball You Are Looking For.. The Color Scheme Really Catches Your Eye As The Ball Rolls Down Lane… I Have Used This Ball Alot Lately Not Only On The Heavier Volume Patterns But Medium House Shot As Well That Makes This Ball Very Versatile.. Have Thrown The Ball Playing Straight Up The Boards To The Right Or Moving Left And Keeping The Ball In The Middle Part Of The Lane And Swinging It! I Drilled This Ball To Definitely Go Down Lane And Really Saves The Energy For The Back Part Of The Lane And Really Drives Through The Pins! This Is Definitely A Great Ball And Is Gonna Be The First Ball Out Of The Bag On The Fresh! The Track Strata is solid Bowling ball that can handle any amount of oil on the lane.

If you were a fan of the paradox this is the replacement ball for you overall you should see about five more boards of total hook of the Strata.
I drilled mine 65x4x30 with this layout I got a very strong bowling ball max flare. I see this ball staying in my bag for a long time.

No-thumb, one league per week, tournaments when I can. Tremendous slouch.

Mid lane traction, strong backend on heavier volume patterns.

The Strata is Track’s first top-end release of 2020. The Proof performed like the highest priced balls but was sold at a great value. The designers had the challenging task of exceeding the Proof’s performance with this release, and we’re all very excited with the results. The Strata provides the ideal blend of strong mid lane with continuous backend. To get the desired performance, the Track design team started with the new Strata asymmetric core, and the strongest Q.R. cover to date, QR-11 Solid. The addition of DynamiCore for extra hitting power and Durability Optimization Technology (DOT) for worry free drilling with your favorite layout, are always added benefits to help us get higher scores.

The Strata has an out of box surface of 500/1000 and paired up with the core/cover combination, as well as my layout of 45×4.5×35, gives me the exact ball reaction Track Bowling has intended on heavier volume patterns and longer patterns that I may encounter when I’m competing in tournaments. It’s a little too much ball for my league that I roll in, even on those nights when the lanes seem to be more slick and a ball with traction is needed, but when I add a little bit of polish I’m able to get the ball to read the mid and back a little later and that makes the Strata a viable option for league.

I have to admit, with it’s Grey/Sky/Black colors, the Strata has one of the best color schemes that I’ve seen in a long time and is one of the best looking balls I’ve ever seen. Looks great as the colors blend while it’s going down the lane and even when it’s stationary on the ball rack.

Premium traction with enough energy left to make a strong move in the backend makes the Track Strata an easy choice for the heaviest of oil patterns.

Be well, rip racks …and shred pins.

The Strata solid is very strong yet versatile and really is an eye catcher going down the lane. I’ve thrown it on 3 patterns and a house shot and really like the way that it gets down the lane with a strong backend. The color scheme is easy on the eyes. I prefer to use the Strata on longer patterns and heavier volumes.

HOOK IN A BOX AND DOESNT STOP!! Easiest way to describe this piece. Great for heavier volume patterns and just cuts right through it and takes more more or less surface just as well. I was very surprised with this piece. Been a lil bit since I have seen a bigger block like this still eat through it all despite my higher ball speed.
