Brunswick Quantum Evo Solid Bowling Ball Features:
Quantum Core System
The Quantum Evo series celebrates the evolution of technology within one of bowling’s most significant series of balls, the Quantum. The keystone for the Quantum balls from the onset has been the mushroom-shaped core, and this is where our engineers started developing this next evolution in Quantum balls. The QCS (Quantum Core System) begins with a modified mushroom shape with integrated flow-through channels allowing DynamiCore2 to flow freely through the core body, promoting better adhesion, durability, and hitting power. Quantum balls have traditionally been a thick shell, which is great for hitting and durability but limits RG core numbers. The evolution of the QCS and DynamiCore2 allows for a ball with the same hitting power and durability of a thick shell ball but the core dynamic opportunities of a two-plus piece core construction. This evolution will create faster revving, more versatile Quantum bowling balls.
The Evolution of Core Design
Both Quantum Evo Solid and Pearl started with the same mushroom core shape, and our engineers carefully modified the sides of the top portion, taking mass away until the asymmetry displayed the unique numbers we looked to achieve. The result is a system of cores designed to precisely exhibit reaction characteristics that perfectly align with the cover strength. The higher intermediate core is strategically paired with the polished cover, as it promotes quicker response to friction. The lower intermediate core value complements the ultra-aggressive Evo Solid, with a strong and continuous ball motion path.
Evolution Reactive Coverstock
Evolution Reactive is Brunswick’s next stage in reactive performance products. Years of blending and working with different chemistries have led us down the path of extremely strong solid bowling balls that don’t lose their energy on the backend. This experience has now also led to a polished pearl ball with increased hook potential when more oil is present on the lanes while maintaining the benefit of a pearl, polished ball when the lanes are broken down or transitioning.
Dynamicore2
DynamiCore has been an evolutionary technology for Brunswick since 2018, and our theme of evolving continues with the new DynamiCore2. We chose to unveil this next stage in outer core technology with the Quantum Evo series because it mimics thick shell hitting power and durability, something the Quantum customer has always been accustomed to.

The Quantum is back.
The quantum has the strongest core and cover combination that they offer currently.
The motion you will see from the solid is an early rolling strong heavy oil ball, with the addition of Dynamicore 2 will be the hardest hitting ball on the market.
Dynamicore 2 is a thicker shell and more durable than the original Dynamicore. Which gives you a stronger hitting ball.

Easily the strongest ball in my bag. Great for heavier volumes but also takes surface changes very well. With the new and improved Dynamicore 2 this ball really sends the pins flying. Paired with the Evo Pearl it makes a great 2 ball combo

I’m not usually a fan of high end solids as they tend to burn up and labor down lane. This ball however retains the energy throughout the front part of the lane giving me and ideal backend motion. Very versatile for a high end ball. I would say that this ball is a good 3 feet earlier and 5 to 6 boards less backend than the pearl Evo

This ball is awesome! I loved the quantum line and they did not disappoint. This balls hitting power is amazing with the new Dynamicore 2.It is a thicker shell and more durable than the original Dynamicore. Which gives you a stronger hitting ball. This is the strongest ball in my bag. This ball loves oil. For a very strong ball it is very controllable. Def a great addition to the arsenal.

The Quantum line is back and better than ever!!! This ball gives me a ton of motion. It picks up early but doesn’t fizzle out! You will get continuous down lane motion from start to finish. This ball is really good on heavier oil. I love the predictable motion I get with the solid coverstock.

When I got my Quantum I was very hesitant based on the numbers. I expected this ball to be longer downlane due to the RG and differential. When I had the ball at box surface it tended to go a little longer than I wanted, so I changed the surface to 1000 with my ball speed being 16.4-16.8. The ball read the midlane better and had a better predictable motion. The Pearl is a very good transition ball paired with the solid giving you a nice 1-2 punch.

Quantum EVO Solid
I had heard that the Quantum EVO solid was a super early and smooth piece. I figured this would compliment my other big early asym ball the Polaris, and that it did. The EVO solid is maybe a little earlier, but doesn’t have backend the Polaris does, which makes the EVO Solid a must have on fresh house shots and sports patterns. For Sport patterns this ball would be great on a heavy volume up front with a shorter overall pattern, or on a longer pattern with medium to heavy volume. So far I have been very impressed with how this ball goes through the pins, being that it rolls pretty early.

WOW! This is one of the strongest balls in my bag. It loves oil, picks up early, yet saves up enough energy for the backend. I have little revs and down and in is my go-to game, but I’m very happy with how controllable it is and how it allows me to move in and still cover quite a bit of area. You will not be disappointed in this ball!
Michelle Smith –
Continuous, smooth and great on a variety of conditions. This hybrid ball packs much more punch than I expected. Hammer has done it again and you will be extremely happy with this purchase.

COMMENTS
The Quantum Evo Solid is a very strong continuous ball that enjoys heavy oil. This ball has a very strong cover and eats oil for breakfast. The Evo Solid is the strongest ball in the current Brunswick lineup and will be used on the heaviest conditions. During testing, I was unable to throw this ball past the breakpoint and found it best used inside of the oil on the house shot. This one is quite a bit earlier than the EVO Pearl and makes for a strong one two punch. If you have trouble getting your ball to hook soon enough or need a ball for oiler conditions, check out the Quantum Evo Solid.

The Evo Solid is a hook machine. For an earlier piece the Evo solid gets up the lane pretty easily. Strong midline hook, responsive at the friction, with good continuation. Ball is best on more volumes of oil but actually performs well on burn. Where a lot of high-end pieces tend to burn up the Evo solid doesn’t quit going through the pins. Hits like a TRUCK! Great ball up if the Evo pearl is a bit long and are looking for earlier motion. Has great shelf appeal with the Blue and Lime.

this is one of the strongest balls ive thrown and by far the strongest in my bag right now. i cant use it all the time with it needing oil but when it in play it looks amazing. ive been able to use it on very high volume patterns when i can get anything else to slow down. overall its an amazing very very strong ball

Brunswick chose to unveil DynamiCore2 – the next stage in outer core technology – with the Quantum Evo series. The Evo Pearl is a great 1-2 punch from the Evo Solid. When the lanes transition and there is a need for a bit more length without jeopardizing hitting power, the Evo Pearl is the way to go. The Evo Solid is a great benchmark ball for many oilier conditions. With an early pick up in the front section of the lane and a steady and controllable mid lane. This ball will not disappoint you.

This ball is SPECIAL. I am usually very weary of these big strong asym balls as they don’t fit in my bag very well and rarely get used, but I find myself coming back to this one over and over. I am able to play in any part of the lane and trust the evo to do the right thing. I know this will be in the tournament bag for a while.

EVO SOLID FOR THE WIN!
if you don’t have one of two of these bad boys you are missing out!
Drilled mine 45 x 4 1/2 x 35 , just to. see what this thing could do. Typically I drill my big balls from Brunswick with longer drill angles , because they tend to burn up quickly in the front part of. the lane. This thing however did not! Out of box it read the mid lane perfect, and gave me the exact motion I wanted for a big benchmark. solid. I was able to use this on a ton of different patterns, and found a lot of success. At one point, I think each of teammates. during league were throwing this or the pearl and scoring week after week! a Must have!
