Brunswick Stellar Bowling Ball Features:
The Versa Max core is back and at an unbelievable price point. The Versa Max is one of Brunswick’s most requested balls from the past, so they have decided to use the core to create a new line and reaction in the Brunswick line-up. The Stellar is a stunning three-color hybrid offering excellent length and pop due to its high RG, high Differential, and high-performing Activator Plus 2.0.

The Stellar is another great ball from Brunswick.
It brings back the very popular Versa Max core and with the activator plus 2.0 Hybrid. Your going to get a ball that doesn’t read the front part of the lane and will pick up on the backend add and Dynamicore and it will send the pins flying.
I drilled mine 65×4.5×30.
I use this one on medium to light oil. When the lanes get burned up this is when I use this ball and it works great for me and fits perfectly in the Brunswick Line.

I picked up two of the Brunswick Stellar since I really wanted to see both the pin up and pin down reactions. I’ve found that while similar, they do have their differences. The pin down can get down lane further than a pin down solid but still has a strong movement on the backend while also being controllable. The pin up version can certainly get down the lane further than my pin down version but not as far as my Zenith Pearl but it is still controllable off the spot. For these I would say they fall in between the reactions you’d expect from the hybrid and a pearl ball, a bit more length than a normal hybrid but not as long as a normal pearl. This type of reaction has made it my benchmark ball to work off of and it has been very reliable and successful on my house conditions on league night

In the stellar they brought back the beloved Versa Max core and paired it with the always popular Activator Plus 2.0 to give us an outstanding new ball. The Stellar is a hybrid cover with a higher RG core that will produce a completely different ball reaction in the Brunswick line. The Stellar ignores the front of the lane and has great recovery through the mid-lane and backend, working best on medium to even medium dry conditions. This ball is Stellar and a ball your gonna want in your bag if front of the lane is starting to burn up.
Great addition

Ball is great on a variety of conditions! It allows you to change hand position in times when needed and get deeper in the lanes and it still comes around the corner. It’s not overbearing strong but strong enough to get out the corner pins even when play as deep as the 25 to 30 board.

This ball has 2 of my favorite combinations a bowling ball can have. Versa Max cover and activator cover. Extremely clean through the front part of the lane for a hybrid with strong angular, yet controllable backend motion. It controls the middle part of the lane without losing anything down lane. This is a great medium condition ball and a great ball to go to after your higher end ball starts to lose energy.

The Stellar is very impressive. This ball is extremely smooth and controllable. This is a great benchmark ball. It is a great step down from the Damn Good Verge. The Stellar is extremely smooth and continuous off the spot. It goes through the pins unbelievably good. It throws the pins with ease. The shelf appeal is fantastic. It feels a spot in my bag that I didn’t know I was missing. Nothing else I have is this motion. It is special. Do not sleep on this ball.

The Versa Max core is back and paired with the Activator Plus 2.0 hybrid cover. The Stellar really reads the mid-lane and backend very well on medium conditions. For me I see a similar shape to the original Hero but a bit earlier and stronger. An absolute must have to see exactly what the lanes are doing

The Stellar has been a fantastic addition to my bag. It provides EASY length up front and is surprisingly responsive down lane (factory finish, 5” pin to PAP, pin down). In my eyes, the most impressive aspect of this ball is that it looks better and better the further right I move (left handed)!
In terms of complementary reactions for me, the Stellar is a perfect ball down from the Hammer Scorpion (same layout, very light polish on top of FF). Balls like the Melee Jab and the Uppercut are both stronger in the mid lane and not quite as responsive down lane.
If you’re looking for one of those late game “get out of jail free” cards, I would highly recommend taking a look at the Stellar!

The Stellar brings back the popular Versamax core with a new quicker reacting coverstock. What I found with the Stellar is some of the Versamax shape in the middle part of the lane and some of its forgiving nature. This one is certainly cleaner and has better recovery than the Versamax. It fits in between the Hero and the Fearless reaction wise and looks to be a real winner on the moderate type conditions. I use it as a ball down from the Midnight Blue Jab. This one compares favorably as an updated Hyroad and should be a good ball for all styles of play. Be sure to check out the Stellar if your looking for good backend reaction on medium conditions.

The Melee Jab Midnight Blue is an earlier reading version of previous Melee Jabs. This one features the same reliable Melee core with a stronger cover that picks up sooner in the middle of the lane. I found this one to be several feet sooner than my Melee Jab Blood Red with a slightly quicker response time. This will be my go to ball for opening the lanes or playing steeper angles when there is head oil present. This Melee Jab Midnight Blue is the strongest Jab of them all.

The Stellar features Brunswick’s innovative outer core technology called DynamiCore. After watching Walter Ray Williams throw this ball the entire tournament, I knew I could not go wrong. For me, the Stellar is a very late heavy rolling ball. I have used this on some of the house shots to control the pocket and in tournaments to control the backend. A great addition to the Brunswick Family.
