Storm Drive Bowling Ball Features:
The Drive is the second ball from Storm to use the Dual-Drive symmetrical core shape, with the first being the Timeless. It pairs this high RG, high differential core with the R2S Nano Hybrid coverstock. The Drive is ready for the lanes out of the box at a sanded 3000 Abralon finish, but the colors on this ball make it visually appear to be rougher than that.
When you think about the word “Drive” a few different concepts come to mind. One meaning refers to the actual navigation of a motor vehicle. To compliment the original Timeless, Storm created a new RS2 Nano hybrid shell which adds traction to better handle more oil., both in the heads and at the end of the pattern. In testing, Storm saw an increased mid-lane read of more than 5%, meaning it gave more predictability in the part of the lane that matters the most! And, due to the unique dynamics and characteristics of the dual-drive weight block, entry angle was not sacrificed in doing so.
