If the 2019 PBA season on FOX Sports hasn’t been exciting enough up to this point, just wait, it’s really going to heat up from now through July!
On April 8th the Tour will be at Bayside Bowl in Portland, ME once again to kick off the 1st ever PBA Playoff Bracket Championship. The brackets have been set and the Top 24 players of the 2019 season are ready to battle head to head for the 100K top prize.
Before the first ball of competition is rolled the PBA League will hold its draft where each of the 8 teams will choose the players they feel will help them to the Elias Cup Championship in July. Some great players will surely feel slighted and there will likely be some surprise picks in store.
Then, the first Round of 24 matches kick in Monday night, LIVE on FS1 at 7pm. The Playoffs will then continue for the next 7 Monday nights in a row on FS1. Once the Final 4 are determined FOX will pick up the last two rounds which will be the Final 4 on Saturday June 1 at Noon and then the Championship match for 100K at Noon on Sunday June 2.
If that’s not enough, the PWBA will kick off the 2019 season on April 27th with the Nationwide PWBA Greater Cleveland Open. That’s right… the ladies will have five events completed, including the USBC Queens on May 21st, before the PBA Playoff Champion is even determined. What that means is TONS of bowling action right through June.
