Hammer Ruthless Bowling Ball Features:

The Hammer Ruthless features the return of the lightbulb-shaped 40 Watt core design, which is the same core that was used in the polished and pearlized Flawless from earlier this year. This higher RG and medium differential design keeps the Ruthless from overlapping with balls like the Web and Web Tour. In terms of coverstock, the Ruthless is the opposite of the Flawless. Its rough Juiced Solid cover comes out of the box at a 2000 Abralon finish, making it earlier and smoother than the Flawless, with more overall hook. The Juiced Solid cover has been used previously a few times by Hammer, most recently on the Black Widow Red Legend Solid and Diesel Torque.

Take No Prisoners!

There are winners and losers; no one remembers the losers!

JUICED SOLID COVERSTOCK

The Juiced coverstock is responsive by nature. This solid version, with its 500/1000/2000 Abralon finish, will create stronger overall ball motion compared to the pearl version featured on the Flawless, while still offering a strong reaction at the breakpoint.

40 WATT CORE

The 40 Watt core was named after its light bulb shape and differential in the forties. You can expect medium flare potential from this core.

So far I really like what I see from the new Hammer Ruthless. It picks up in the mid lane and has a strong overall hook without being jumpy. For me that means when I make a mistake there is a better chance of leaving a makeable spare instead of some crazy split. I’ve only used it on a house shot so far, but I can see using this on sports shots when I want to ball down from the Ebonite Futura or Columbia 300 Chaos.
